W1348 Large-Flowered Purple Zinnia, 100 Seeds

Variety characteristics:

• W1348 Large-Flowered Purple is a tall Zinnia elegans selection producing showy purple to magenta-purple flowers for cutting gardens and summer borders. Vigorous plants grow approximately 31–39 inches tall and carry blooms measuring about 3.1 inches across on long, upright stems. Flower color may range from rich violet-purple and rose-purple to brighter magenta tones, with intensity influenced by sunlight, temperature, flower age, moisture, and soil fertility. Most plants are expected to produce double or semi-double flowers, although single blooms and natural variation in petal count may occur. The fast-growing plants continue forming new flowering stems when blooms are harvested or faded flowers are removed regularly. Provide full sun, fertile well-drained soil, consistent moisture, and mesh or stake support in areas exposed to wind and heavy rain.
