U2616 Purple Fruit Kohlrabi F1, 5 Grams ≈ 800 Seeds

Description

U2616 Purple Fruit Kohlrabi F1 is a vigorous first-generation hybrid selected for large, uniform stems and excellent fresh-eating quality. Plants develop an upright growth habit with relatively few leaves, allowing the swollen stems to remain visible and easy to harvest. Approximately 60 days after transplanting, the smooth, flattened-round stems reach about 5.1 inches across and 2.8 inches high, with an average weight of approximately 1.65 lb. The thin, glossy skin develops an attractive reddish-purple color with small, neat leaf scars. Beneath the colorful exterior is crisp, tender white flesh with a clean, mild flavor and excellent texture. Enjoy it peeled and sliced for fresh snacks, shredded into salads and slaws, pickled, stir-fried, roasted, or added to soups.
