Variety Characteristics:

◆ As a new-generation rootstock specifically developed for eggplant, this variety was introduced from Japan and demonstrates extremely high grafting compatibility and survival rates. It features a well-developed root system, vigorous growth, rapid bud emergence, and high uniformity. Highly resistant to a range of diseases, it is suitable for both protected greenhouse cultivation and open-field production. It is recommended to sow the rootstock about 25 days earlier than the scion. Grafting—either by cleft or approach grafting—should be carried out when the rootstock has developed 5–6 true leaves and the scion has 4–5 true leaves.
