Flowering occurs primarily from spring to early summer. The blooms open fully under sunlight and close at night or on cloudy days, with each individual flower lasting 5–7 days. This variety thrives in full sun and warm, arid conditions, demonstrating strong drought tolerance but sensitivity to waterlogging. While cold-sensitive, it requires partial shade to protect against intense summer sun. Well-draining, fertile sandy loam soil is ideal.
