Its spathe is horseshoe-shaped, bright yellow at the base and blending into orange-red toward the petal margin. With its unique flower form, it is suitable for indoor decoration and widely used as a cut flower; it can also be planted in clusters near ponds or rockeries. It thrives in sunlight and prefers an optimal growing temperature of 18–25°C; while it loves warmth, it is not cold-hardy. Keep the soil consistently moist, avoiding both over-drying and waterlogging, especially during its summer dormancy period.
