◆ Portley Fingerling potato is a high-yield, red-fleshed hybrid cultivar. Its flesh offers a rich flavor and is highly versatile for various cooking methods. The red color distributes evenly after thorough steaming or boiling. This late-maturing variety has relatively thick-skinned tubers, which reach full expansion at complete maturity. For mini-tuber harvest, crops can be picked as early as 8–9 weeks after planting. At full maturity, the average yield per plant is approximately 3.5 lbs. The seed potatoes have a long dormancy period of at least 5 months.
