Variety Key Traits:

This early-to-mid-season bean variety has a plant height of approximately 55 cm (around 21.6 inches) and pod lengths reaching 50 cm (about 19.7 inches). The plant has strong branching and compact internodes, with densely arranged flower stalks and an indeterminate pod-setting habit. The pods are vibrant green, thick, tender, with minimal fiber, making them ideal for fresh consumption and highly marketable. This variety is adaptable, resilient, and grows well across various regions. However, the best quality beans are harvested when temperatures are between 25°C and 30°C (77°F to 86°F), as temperatures outside this range may affect flowering and fruiting.

For optimal growth, apply sufficient base fertilizer, with sowing generally suitable from April to July. Use a wide-and-narrow row spacing method: 50 cm (19.7 inches) for wide rows and 40 cm (15.7 inches) for narrow rows, with 30 cm (11.8 inches) spacing between plants. Water during dry periods, fertilize at the early flowering stage, and reapply after each harvest to prevent early decline. After June, monitor and manage pests like bean pod borers and cowpea rust.
