The leaves are oblong-ovate and dark green with double-serrated margins, becoming hairless in the later growth stages. The root bulb measures approximately 15 cm in height and 12 cm in width and typically weighs about 1 kg. This variety demonstrates broad adaptability and produces high, stable yields in regions with long, cool autumns and sufficient fertilizer and water availability. The primary edible part is the tuberous root. While the fresh fleshy root is rich in various vitamins and dietary fiber, its strong pungency makes it unpalatable for raw consumption. Therefore, it is commonly diced and pickled before eating. It can also be used as animal feed.
