◆ Dwarf Gondwana Rose Tomato is a compact dwarf tomato reaching about 1 m / 3.3 ft tall, producing round to slightly flattened fruits weighing about 40-60 g / 1.4-2.1 oz each. The fruits have a soft brown-pink base color with beautiful anthocyanin coloring over the shoulders, giving them a striking dusky rose-to-purple appearance. Flesh is juicy, meaty, and dense, with a sweet flavor balanced by noticeable acidity and a light spicy note. This variety is reported to have originated from an accidental cross discovered by Mira Almakaeva after sharing extra seedlings with a neighbor in 2017. A stable line was selected from that natural cross, with Beach Cherry or Blue Chocolate considered possible parents. A beautiful dwarf tomato for small gardens, containers, collectors, and growers who enjoy anthocyanin-colored specialty varieties.
