◆ The Erbai Pi lettuce plant is compact, approximately 40 cm tall, with a leaf spread of 45–50 cm. The leaves are rounded or obovate, with slightly wrinkled margins and a light green color. The skin of the stems is greenish-white, with the stems reaching up to 30 cm in length and approximately 5 cm in diameter. The flesh is light green, crisp, tender, and fragrant, with a thin, delicate skin. A single stem weighs approximately 600 grams. This variety is early maturing, with a sowing-to-harvest period of 90–110 days. It is suitable for autumn and winter cultivation, with a yield of 2,000–2,500 kg per mu. It has strong bolting resistance and good cold tolerance, with an optimal growing temperature of 15–25℃. It tolerates both short periods of low temperatures and moderate to high temperatures, and exhibits excellent overall commercial qualities.
