• Characteristics: This variety of cashew tree is a deciduous shrub or small tree that can reach heights of 4-10 meters (13FT-33FT). It features yellow-brown branches and leathery ovate leaves with prominent veins on both sides. The flowers are yellow, with lanceolate sepals and petals, leading to kidney-shaped fruits that ripen from fresh yellow to purple-red. The flowering period typically occurs from December to May, while fruiting occurs from April to July.
