• Cultivating this variety requires special attention, as Malabar spinach seeds have a hard seed coat, necessitating pre-germination treatment for successful sprouting. Before sowing, apply well-rotted organic manure and calcium superphosphate, followed by deep plowing and leveling to create a flat bed with a width of 1.2 meters (3.9ft). For row planting, maintain a spacing of around 20cm (7.9'') between plants, while broadcast planting should have a spacing of 8-10cm (3.1''-4'') between plants.
