958 Stargazing Journey Tomato, 5 Seeds

Description

- 958 Stargazing Journey is a tall, midseason Russian tomato distinguished by its constantly changing multicolor fruit. The elongated oval to small plum-shaped tomatoes weigh approximately 1.9 oz and may develop gently tapered blossom ends. As the fruits mature, their pale cream and green foundations gradually shift toward golden yellow, amber, and orange. Red and bronze striping appears across the surface, while sun-exposed shoulders can deepen to blue-purple, violet, or nearly black. Fruits harvested at different stages may display dramatically different color combinations on the same plant.
- The ornamental fruits are especially attractive in mixed tomato baskets, salads, tasting plates, garnishes, and whole-fruit presentations. Provide tall plants with secure staking or trellising and allow good light exposure around the fruit clusters for the strongest purple shoulder coloration. Fruit color varies with ripeness, sunlight, temperature, and growing conditions. Green or olive areas do not necessarily indicate full maturity; harvest timing should be based on the development of the underlying gold-to-orange color and a slight softening of the fruit.
