• 955 Sergeant Pepper's x Pascal Tomato is a new tomato selection obtained from a cross of Sergeant Pepper's and Pascal from Picardy. It combines the unique fruit shape and dense flesh of Pascal with the striking anthocyanin coloring of Sergeant Pepper's. Plants are medium-sized, about 5 ft, or 1.5 m tall, with slender stems and slightly drooping foliage. Fruits are large and dense, usually narrow heart-shaped but sometimes more classic heart-shaped, weighing about 5-12 oz, or 150-350 g. The skin develops beautiful dark anthocyanin shoulders over a red base, while the flesh is red, sweet, and pleasantly fruity. Fruits can hang on the plant for a long time, and productivity is excellent. Because this is a newer selection, some variation or splitting may still occur.
