• 609 Summer Sun F10 is a stabilized, dehybridized selection developed through multiple generations of careful selection from descendants of the commercial Summer Sun F1 hybrid. This exceptionally vigorous indeterminate cherry tomato features potato-leaf foliage and produces enormous quantities of luminous amber-gold fruits that appear to glow from within. The round cherries generally weigh approximately 0.5 to 1.1 oz and have juicy flesh with an exceptionally sweet, rich flavor. Under protected growing conditions, vines may reach up to 13 ft and can be trained to four or five stems when supplied with ample space, fertility, water, and strong overhead support. Excellent for garden snacking, salads, lunchboxes, garnishes, preserves, and colorful whole-fruit canning.
