55 T.C. Jones Tomato, 5 Seeds

Variety characteristics:

• 55 T.C. Jones is a Kentucky family heirloom producing beautiful sunny-yellow beefsteak tomatoes on vigorous, indeterminate vines. The slightly flattened fruits typically weigh approximately 7.1–12.3 oz and develop gently to moderately ribbed shoulders, with some fruits showing a delicate pink blush near the blossom end when fully ripe. Their thick, tender flesh is juicy without being watery, offering a pleasant balance of sweetness and acidity with a mild, fruity tomato finish. Maturity generally falls in the mid-to-late or late-season range, approximately 75–85 days after transplanting. Regular-leaf plants can reach approximately 5.9–7.2 feet and require secure staking, caging, or trellising as the fruit load develops. T.C. Jones is an attractive choice for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, yellow tomato platters, salsa, chutney, sauces, and canning.
