Compact, rugose regular-leaf plants generally remain approximately 10 to 16 inches tall, although plant height and growth habit may vary among seed lines. The chunky oval to short plum-shaped fruits commonly weigh approximately 0.7 to 1.1 oz and ripen to a brilliant golden yellow-orange. Many fruits develop attractive bronze, brown-purple, or smoky anthocyanin striping on sun-exposed areas, while others may mature to a mostly uniform golden orange.
