359 Mordovian Blues Red F5 Tomato, 5 Seeds

Variety characteristics:

• 359 Mordovian Blues Red F5 is an experimental midseason tomato line producing large, round to slightly flattened fruits averaging approximately 7.1 to 10.6 oz, with exceptional fruits occasionally reaching 17.6 to 21.2 oz. The immature tomatoes display diffuse brown-purple anthocyanin coloring over a green background, developing the darkest pigmentation on surfaces exposed to direct sunlight. At full ripeness, the fruits develop a rich crimson-red base marked with olive green, brown, and smoky purple stripes that gather around the stem end. The tender, exceptionally juicy dark red flesh delivers pronounced sweetness, balanced tomato acidity, and a rich aroma of tropical and exotic fruits with a long, pleasant finish. Vigorous indeterminate plants develop regular foliage, large flower trusses, and vines reaching approximately 5.9 to 6.6 feet outdoors and taller under greenhouse conditions. Train the plants to two main stems and provide sturdy staking or trellising. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, salsa, juice, sauces, and dramatic tomato platters. As an F5 breeding line, individual plants may still vary in fruit size, shape, striping, anthocyanin coverage, and flavor.
