349 Queen Marbena Tomato, 5 Seeds
Variety characteristics:
• 349 Queen Marbena is a productive midseason Romanian heirloom producing large, variable beefsteak fruits weighing approximately 8.8 to 17.6 oz. Individual tomatoes may develop as broad flattened beefsteaks, rounded hearts, or deeply lobed heart-shaped fruits with full, prominent shoulders. The substantial fruits mature from pale green to glowing golden orange and deep apricot, occasionally developing warmer amber coloring at full ripeness. The exceptionally meaty, juicy orange flesh contains small seed cavities and delivers pronounced sweetness, gentle balancing acidity, and an intense aromatic flavor with rich tropical fruit notes. Vigorous indeterminate plants develop regular foliage, reach approximately 5.9 feet tall or more, and continue producing until frost under favorable conditions. Train the vines to two main stems and provide heavy-duty staking or trellising for the large fruit clusters. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, caprese, juice, soups, sauces, and substantial tomato platters.
