341 Taiga Tomato, 5 Seeds

Variety characteristics:

• 341 Taiga is an exceptional midseason tricolor oxheart tomato producing plump, substantial fruits weighing approximately 8.8 to 14.1 oz in this seed line. The broad hearts ripen in an ever-changing mixture of olive green, golden yellow, warm bronze, dusky pink, and muted burgundy, with every fruit developing its own marbled pattern. Inside, the dense, meaty yellow-green flesh is dramatically streaked and mottled with emerald green, rosy pink, and crimson around the center and seed cavities. The remarkably rich flavor combines full-bodied sweetness, tropical fruitiness, savory tomato depth, and a gentle refreshing tang reminiscent of its Captain Lucky parent. Slender, willowy indeterminate plants develop broad potato-leaf foliage and relatively sparse leaf coverage, producing well in cool summers and short-season gardens. Provide a sturdy cage or trellis, support the heavy fruit clusters, and prune lightly to protect the fruits from sunscald. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, caprese, colorful tomato platters, salsa, chilled soups, passata, roasting, and richly flavored sauces.
