335 Dark Slice Tomato, 5 Seeds

Variety characteristics:

• 335 Dark Slice is a dramatic midseason anthocyanin tomato producing dense, medium-to-large fruits with round to flattened slicing shapes. The tomatoes mature to rich crimson, raspberry-red, and deep rose, while sun-exposed shoulders and sides develop striking indigo-purple, burgundy-black, and nearly black pigmentation. Each fruit displays a different balance of glowing red and shadowy purple-black, creating an especially attractive harvest for market tables and specialty gardens. The firm, meaty flesh offers abundant sweetness, a smooth full-bodied texture, and very little perceived acidity. Vigorous indeterminate plants may exceed 6.5 feet tall, set a highly productive crop over an extended season, and perform best when trained to two main stems. Provide a tall, heavy-duty cage or trellis and retain adequate foliage to protect developing fruits during periods of intense heat. Excellent for thick fresh slices, sandwiches, burgers, salads, caprese, dramatic tomato platters, salsa, roasting, juice, and richly colored sauces.
