283 Everett's Rusty Oxheart Tomato, 5 Seeds

Description

283 Everett's Rusty Oxheart is a distinctive late-season indeterminate tomato producing bicolor oxheart fruits weighing approximately 5.3–14.1 oz. The smooth to lightly ribbed hearts mature with a striking blend of rusty red, bronze, olive green, and brownish-red tones, while the shoulders often retain deeper green shading. Inside, the juicy, tender flesh combines green, yellow, and pink marbling with a creamy texture, very few seeds, rich sweetness, and complex fruity flavor. Vigorous regular-leaf plants continue producing through the latter part of the season and benefit from sturdy staking or trellising. Fruit shape may range from classic hearts to rounded or gently flattened oxhearts, adding collector appeal to every harvest. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, sauces, roasting, and colorful heirloom platters.
