• 232 Brussel Tomato Festival is a recent French tomato created by Bruno Fournier and named at the 2017 tomato festival held at Ferme Nos Pilifs in Brussels, Belgium. The vigorous, healthy midseason plants reach approximately 5.6 feet and produce generous trusses of about five to six fruits. Tomatoes typically weigh approximately 5.3–6.3 oz, although fruit size and shape may vary somewhat between seed lines. The fruits range from round and oval to short plum-shaped and develop an extraordinary mixture of green, yellow, orange, pink, and dusky purple tones, often accented by contrasting stripes and mottled patterns. Their juicy, tender flesh has a sweet, jam-like texture with intense fruity flavor and very little sharp acidity. Provide sturdy staking, caging, or trellising to support the vigorous plants and heavy fruit clusters. Excellent for fresh slicing, salads, sandwiches, salsa, colorful tomato platters, and specialty garden displays.
