224 Reverend Michael Keyes Tomato, 5 Seeds

Variety characteristics:

• 224 Reverend Michael Keyes is an exceptionally productive American multiflora tomato selected and stabilized by breeder Blane Horton from a Black Plum × Sweet Beverley cross. The vigorous, regular-leaf indeterminate plants typically reach approximately 4.9–6.6 feet and develop enormous, highly branched flower trusses. Each cluster may carry 30–50 fruits, with substantially larger sets possible under favorable growing conditions. The smooth, glossy tomatoes are bright red to deep red, oval to small plum-shaped, and occasionally finish with a short pointed tip. Fruits weigh approximately 0.5–0.7 oz and offer juicy yet pleasantly firm flesh, noticeable sweetness, lively acidity, and rich old-fashioned tomato flavor. Train plants to two or three main stems when space permits, and provide strong vertical staking or string trellising to support the exceptionally heavy clusters. Excellent for garden snacking, salads, lunch boxes, appetizers, roasting, preserves, and whole-fruit canning.
